The starting point for the development of Elise was the desire to create different communicative situations by the use of a circular form. If we draw up two opposing Elise sofas, we can obtain a large single couch to recline upon. On the other hand a less intimate context can be created by turning the sofa at a 45° angle. With up to 7 sofas it is possible to produce a dynamic ring, enclosing an interior space. If the ring form is not desired, the Elise sofas can be lined up side by side.
