David Irwin’s Dining Chair collection is an engaging and witty range of conceptual chairs, each with its own personal message. Inspired by the concept of chairs in a shared space and their role in communal living, David’s designs provide an intelligent and humorous response to everyday problems.

The range includes the ‘elbow’ chair, in which one of the front legs juts out at an angle to create immediate elbow room for the user. There is also a ‘jacket’ chair which includes a double back rail so that you can confidently hang you jacket on the back without it falling to the floor five minutes later. And, especially for the animals in the house, there is a ‘dog’ chair which houses a dog bowl in the cross rail so that you can feed the dog at the table without getting you or your pet into trouble.
