"Du fil et une aiguille" is a mat which converts to a stool with a simple movement. This project is the result of an etymological study on the root of the French word "tabouret", meaning stool: "le tambour à broder" ("embroidery hoop" in English). Its investigation is based on the gesture of a needle and thread pulled through fabric under tension.
Materials: structure in beech ply / closed-cell rubber foam, technical jersey in polyester fibre.
Dimensions: Mat 120 x 120 cm / stool 60 x 60 x 10 cm
