Product description

The concept of the Ando (design: Stephan Veit) reduces the bed to two main sections comprised by the lying and leaning surfaces. Thus Gruber+Schlager’s philosophy of “pure living” is enriched by a bed that is as restrained as it is striking.

Seen laterally, the two areas combine to form a lying “T”, while the bed derives its floating character through the colour accentuation of the frame and bed head, as well as the dark, recessed body for the mattress and slatted frame.

The bed is available with either a flush-mounted or generously overlapping head with a painted or veneered surface. In addition, a strikingly quilted, high-quality leather pillow version is also available.

Concept

The Vico bed, designed by Stephan Veit, represents a completely new variation on the bed theme and yet another demonstration of Gruber+Schlager’s versatility.

A fine proportioned, perfectly and jointless massiv-wood-frame with a clear line management and distinctive design carries the mattress and a softish, filled cushion, which invites to recline and relax.

As a result of the stylish rear side, the bed is ideally suitable for a freestanding position and also cuts an excellent figure in any loft.
