Claudio Bellini has devised his latest executive line designed for Frezza as a simple, nevertheless wonderful table. Its weightless, tense, dynamic, essential, “molliniana” memory, wood structure holds a glass or wood veneer top combining a magical balance of opposing strengths. This combination, the core’s project, thanks to the different color and material combinations, is naturally open to antithetical interpretations which exalt its expressive potential. Ranging from the classical totally wooden compositions to the more daring ones which combine glass tops and colored varnishes.
The expression of the design DR surpasses the usual precepts of serial industrial products. DR evokes excellence of execution, and for those who wish to have it among their possessions , the distinctive and unique character of an executive office whose style blends with time and fashion. Productionwise, DR is the result of the processing of solely natural eco-sustainable elements. The structure is made up of a one and only element, entirely in solid wood, walnut; a lacquered version is also available in glazed white or anthracite version. Wood tops are in walnut veneer finishing with rounded and tapered solid wood edges in order to accentuate the lightness of surfaces.
“A wonderful desk, that we can imagine as our private desk at home or together with its extention as a perfect piece of furniture for one’s office but even in a very refined meeting room and, why not perhaps round in shape in a lovely dining room…” (Claudio Bellini).
