Dempsey Cocktail Table

The hand poured, 1 3/8" thick Borosilicate glass of the Dempsey top has an inherently organic quality which sets it apart from all other glass. This early 20th century material was once used for telescope lenses. The existing stock features occlusions and varying textures which give each sheet its own unique character. The silvered glass sits atop a deeply patinated, solid silicon bronze base which is polished along one edge to create a continuous, graphic line. The base is also available in nickel and other metals. The top can also be clear.
