Rounded shapes often stand for softness and comfort yet sometimes also convey a sense of bulkiness that often undermines the lightness of a product.This thought was uppermost in designer Gordon Guillaumier’s mind when he set out to create the Curve chair. Its structure is made of three elements held together so that the contours are defined by slender edges, rather than by heavyset forms.The result is a full-framed yet lightweight creation that is welcoming but dynamic at the same time.
