Concept
A chair to be assembled, combining parts with complementary geometry and materials, chromed steel wire for the structure of the leg and backrest and moulded cork for the seat and back. these four interloking elements are held together solely by the tensile strength of the steel wire. dissassembled three chairs will fit in a 50cm square box. The Corky chair was part of the 2007 developmant grants awarded by the VIA. Prototypes were shown during the Paris and Milan Furniture fair of the same year.
