cloud softlight creates an undulating overhead canopy of soft luminous forms. Group clusters of cloud to create vast cloudscapes flowing in a unique topography. The hollow cloud forms are internally lit by LED light, making the sculptural three-dimensional forms mysteriously radiant when viewed from any direction. cloud can be hung in any combination of three sizes of clusters, tailored to the individual space they are shaping. Alternately, individual pendants in four different sizes can be suspended. Made from the same translucent white textile material as cloud softlight and textile softwall + softblock, these pieces complement each other to create fluid, sculptural environments.
A non-woven polyethylene material, trade name Tyvek©, it is 100% recyclable and made from 5 – 15% recycled content. Its lightweight paper look and feel is tear, UV and water resistant, making it durable to handle and maintain. The textile material has a “class A” flame spread in North America. Documentation is available on request.
cloud floor softlight + cloud table softlight are the two most recent additions to molo's award winning soft collection. The white textile shade of cloud - comprised of hundreds of cellular honeycomb-like forms - is lit internally by energy-efficient LED and radiates a gentle, all around, ambient quality of light. The beautiful, low glare light emanating from cloud makes it ideal for reading, doing detailed work, or simply bringing a new impression to a space. Beneath the textile shade, the visually delicate, demountable wooden bases of cloud floor + table softlight make clever use of a flexible and hidden connection to elegantly join each of it’s three legs together.
