The CITY CAMP collection by Austrian designer Annette Hinterwirth offers a remarkable new interpretation of the DEDON concept of the Outdoor Living Room. Taking inspiration from the base camps of ancient explorers, which served as gathering places away from all infrastructure, Hinterwirth has conceived CITY CAMP as an all-in-one outdoor living unit for modern nomads. “Wherever you are,” she says, “by the sea, in the desert or on a metropolitan rooftop, CITY CAMP is your retreat, your shelter, a place to eat, drink, relax, sleep or just be with family and friends. It can even be used as an outdoor guest bedroom.”
