Inspired by the classic Chesterfield design, Kåre Frandsen has come up with a fresh interpretation and a brand new lounge chair called Chester. The classic and stout expression has been replaced by a lighter and refreshing version. The wooden base emphasizes the old furniture tradition, and adds warmth and character to the upholstered chair. In comparison to the classic Chesterfield, the seat has been reduced into a minimum, but still retaining the essence of the chesterfield style, with the classic recessed buttons. This new, refined chair also offers the opportunity to play with colors, not only during contrast stitching, but also by contrast colors on the buttons. Chester is perfect for public spaces, waiting areas and lounges as well as for private homes. Everywhere it offers warmth, lightness and a cozy atmosphere.
