Collection of double-sided (NB except wardrobes) stand-alone pieces characterised by a structure with 4 rounded corners: this (finished in natural walnut veneer or satin white lacquer) is composed of 2 sheets of moulded, arched multi-ply, linked along their edges (centre of panels) by a 3 mm cross joint highlighted by an aluminium-lacquered metal strip.
The curved lacquered zamac handles are set into the fronts of the doors or drawers (matching handles and fronts in gloss white, gloss taupe or gloss anthracite lacquer).
In Cemia, Peter Maly has achieved a highly successful synthesis between the zen (angular) minimalism of the 1990's and the organic forms of the 1960's. Design and comfort are united, thus broadening their appeal to reach both male and female, young and not-so-young. The Cemia bed may be complemented by bedside tables, 'roller-boys', chests of drawers, wardrobes, and even Cemia TV units, to create compositions for the bedroom which are at once comfortable and convivial, and of exceptional softness.
