The bookcase Cartesia is enriched by new potentials thanks to the introduction of the Cartesia Large elements: backs, shelves and containers of wide horizontal dimension and with several functionalities. Systems that are able to express diversified proposals and interpret various styles, with a stylistic liberty that is part of all Rimadesio proposals.Cartesia Large is a modular system that uses the vertical uprights of the bookcase Cartesia, with which it can be perfectly integrated. It contains a series of horizontal self-bearing elements, very easy to assemble, without any visible screw nor joint : shelves, containers, showcases and CD/DVD holders, available in the widths 160 and 240 cm, and a range of back panels. The system can create compositions of two different heights: 127,5 and 207,5 cm. The proposals with height 207,5 offer the possibility to contain an upper and lower top shelf, or, alternatively, to create “open” solutions with structural profiles.A project that makes the most of the unique characteristics of reliability and versatility of extruded aluminium. The showcases are gifted with an exclusive invisible gas opening mechanism. The suspended holder for plasma TV screens has lateral shelves for DVD player.The top quality of the Rimadesio design has offered the possibility to create shelves, showcases, drop-leaf shutters and CD/DVD holders of extraordinary dimensions, which become structural elements of the compositions. On top of this, thanks to the upper and lower profiles, it is possible to design very original “open” solutions. The backs in glass and Perspex are equipped with a system of retro-illumination with led.
