Bridge chair

Chairs from Case Furniture, Designed by Matthew Hilton

Product description

The Bridge chair by Matthew Hilton is a stackable and lightweight dining chair, ideal for rooms which have little space for large dining sets. Accompanying the contemporary Bridge table, the chair is a notably expressive piece encompassing both functional necessity and feeling. Deliberately stackable and lightweight, the Bridge chair is a great product for restaurants and private dining rooms where chairs are needed to be stored and moved regularly. Equally, the modern design makes the Bridge chair ideal for homes where additional chairs are often needed when the Bridge table has been extended to its full length.
It is available with an oak veneered seat and back with a solid oak frame or a walnut veneered seat and back with a solid walnut frame. The chair has gently tapered legs with an outward facing curvature, creating the signature look of the piece.

Concept

The Bridge table is a notably expressive piece, a fine example of British designer Matthew Hilton’s ability to imbue his designs with both functional necessity and feeling.

It has solid timber legs with a walnut or oak veneered top. The table has gently tapered legs with an outward facing curvature, the supporting frame arcs underneath the elliptical table top like a bridge, creating both leg room and the signature look of the piece.
