BIRD can stand alone or complete various seating groups as an occasional table. It has a graphic, yet dynamic, style thanks to its many different directions. The unusual foot comprises a watercut steel plate and a triangular rod bearing the features of a bird’s foot. The idea for BIRD came about during a visit by the design duo to a natural history museum for inspiration.

“We met OFFECCT just over a year ago to discuss opportunities for complementary elements for seating groups, including occasional tables with their own distinct design. We all agreed that there are too few such tables which are fun and expressive. OFFECCT liked the concept and now one year later BIRD is being launched,” says Johan Ridderstråle.
