“big bux” is a multifunctional object:
The design is based on the box tree, carefully pruned into the shape of a cube. In keeping with its origins, “big bux” could and should be used as a decorative horticultural object (without the need for pruning or watering). Thanks to its materials and structure, you can use it as a seat to sit on. In conjunction with floor lighting, “big bux” can be transformed into a lamp. Brightly illuminated from within, its leaf pattern casts an exciting play of shadows on to the ground and neighbouring walls (light fittings are not included in the package).
Colours
"big bux" is available in four different colours. "Autumn", a warm russety autumnal tone, and the dark verdant "Leaf" both mirror the characteristic leaf pattern of "big bux". By contrast, the grey tones of "Fog" and "Metal" make implicit reference to the raw material used to make "big bux".
Material
"big bux" is made of 3 mm-thick steel plate. The surfaces are hot-dip galvanised and powder coated. All the steel elements are carefully welded together on the inner sides.
Coating
All steel elements are coated with a special high quality powder coating. Due to its high proportion of teflon, the surfaces are simple to clean and the usual types of stickers can be easily removed. The durability of its surfaces and resistance to atmospheric conditions offer optimum protection from vandalism and corrosion.
