This model is a bench seat – and a whole lot more! It’s best defined as a coat stand with mirror, storage container and seat – not forgetting the integral umbrella stand! Hard to imagine that the innovative BENCH concept was inspired by the simple wooden bench seats found in front of many a Bavarian farmhouse. Regional tradition: simple, functional and welcoming.
This coat stand uses a modular-element system, and looks just as splendid in the entrance hall of a purist loft as in a house in the country. BENCH is stable without wall fastenings, and can be assembled from whichever elements the customer needs – and modified later if necessary.
The seat bench comes in three lengths. The individual items are secured in the central joint, where they can be slid to the desired position. The coat rail is at a right angle, and rests against the wall. There are three storage container widths, in each case with either a flap or two drawers. The detachable wooden cover on the container protects the painted surface. Behind the mirror there are two bag hooks and an umbrella stand with drip tray.
Versions:
Bench and cover tray: oak (choice of three stained finishes), walnut or 25 matt paint finishes.
Container body and mirror backing: 25 matt paint finishes.
Coat-stand element: brushed stainless steel.
Cushion upholstery: choice of two woollen fabrics, colour sand or anthracite.
