Base Series by Tom Dixon

The Base Floor Light uses an unusual combination of metals; highly polished shiny brass and traditional matt textured cast iron. These robust and honest designs mark a return to the original departure point of Tom Dixon’s design career, and love of metalwork. The cast iron base of the light uses the process of sand casting and is finished with a black powder coat. The shades are spun and the edges rolled before a lacquer is then applied. With its pyramid square base and impressive show of light reflected from the polished brass shade it is suitable for a variety of interior spaces, contract or residential. Also in the Base collection are the Base Table light and the Base Wall Light. Availability for the Base Wall light is limited to the UK and EU only.
