In his furniture designs, Jean Prouvé combines his technical know-how and the opportunities offered by his production facility in Maxéville with his unique industrial aesthetics. The Bahut sideboard dating from 1951 has an unusual decorative character thanks to the use of diamond sheet metal, emphasized by the cream-white lacquer.

Material: folded sheet aluminium and steel, suspended doors made of diamondshaped plate, handles of solid oak.
