Product description

This chair was made and released by Christensen & Larsen in 1960. The back of the initial model was shaved from solid wood and was integrated with the armrests. There have been several model changes since then, and this re-production model can be considered the final form. A sheet of leather of only 1 mm in thickness covers wood parts as if to merge with the wood.

Bent Andersen(1938- )
Bent Andersen worked for Christensen & Larsen, a highly-trusted furniture studio, and created chairs with elaborate details based on his sensitive designs. His BA-01 was released in 1960, a year when President Kennedy sat on “The Chair” by Hans J. Wegner and Danish chairs become more world-famous than ever before.
