Alpikord is a new generation of pre-finished woods created to emphasise and highlight the naturalness of wood to the full by offering material qualities and aesthetic impact never achieved before. Alpikord is produced using multilaminar veneer wood layered at high pressure on a phenolic backing; it is subsequently brushed along the vein of the wood to accentuate the naturalness of the surface (GROOVE) and then industrially painted with a 5 gloss opaque finishing. The final result is a pre-painted wood in sheets measuring 305x130 cm by 1 mm in thickness ready for application to any panel (mdf, multi-layer) and ideal for use on all types of interiors finishing (furnishing, shops, bars, restaurants, ships, hotels) excluding floorings.
