For the Salone del Mobile (Furniture Salon) 2009, Gervasoni has opted to dedicate the Via Durini showrooms to Gervasoni Progetti and to ALLU, the chair designed a decade ago by Paola Navone.
It wishes to celebrate the noted success of this chair, with its anodized aluminium tubular frame, beautiful, comfortable, light, more a small sofa in its version with armrests and more a chair in the version without.
And it wishes to introduce the complete ALLU family, from its first models to the latest generation, destined to develop and diversify over time.
In its “historic” version, ALLU was born with seat and back made from interwoven parchment or grey polypropylene, sturdy and suitable also for outdoors.
Today, a new chapter in the ALLU story begins. Paola Navone has revisited the chair concept, devising a stacking solution. She has experimented with new colours and materials.
The young ALLU is painted in white, with a seat and back made from interwoven plastic material. Always comfortable, even more versatile and “modern”. Welcome the new ALLU!
