Stools from Lammhults, Designed by Anya Sebton

Product description

Concept

Anya Sebton adds a new angle. The successful series Add continues to grow, now with stools and an accessory program. Together with already existing products in the series, Add gives function, flexibility and design to the activity based work space. At Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Swedish Lammhults presents stools in three heights together with a coat hanger, a magazine rack and a storage rack.

ADD Stool
Add stool, in three heights, offers the perfect balance between aesthetics and function. The seat’s natural incline allows an ideal ergonomic position. It also encourages you to stand up from time to time. Active seating allows active and creative meetings. Add stool is complementing the existing Add series, focusing on the activity based work space, among others. Anya Sebton has designed a stool with a strong, graphic expression giving the product its clear identity. The design finds its natural place in the range of Lammhults’ own classics, such as the S70-3 stool from 1968. Add stool offers timeless design but also function – it has a cantilever, making it suspendable from a table. Several stools can also be put in a queue in order to minimize the space in the room.
Anya Sebton explains: “Today, we see meetings of all kinds. In the activity based work space, we want to stand and sit, al- ternating, and move around. By standing, or sitting in a more straight position, we get better flow of oxygen in our bodies. We simply work and think better!”
Add stool comes in three seat heights: 46, 63 and 78 cm. The seats, in polyurethane foam or upholstered in fabric/leather, have different angles depending on its height – well thought-out for optimal comfort.

ADD Accessories
With a graphic, distinct frame, Anya Sebton creates a storage system with endless possibilities for the flexible work space, the public area or at home. Add accessories are a storage system for every space where flexibility is desired. The series consist of three versions: coat hanger, magazine rack and flower-/box stand. With its graphic and timeless design, this accessory program can be used as solitaires or be linked together. The foot plate, in casted iron, has a swivel base as an option. Add coat hanger has a clothes rail for hangers, but can also be equipped with hooks in black or white polyamide. The clothes rail comes in chromium plated oval steel tubing or in natural ash. The coat hanger can be equipped with an umbrella stand, attached directly to the frame. The storage rack, is multifunctional and stores anything from magazines, brochures and books to bottles or flowers. It is also possible to use several functions in one, for instance by using one flower pot and two magazine boxes in the same frame. Linked together, the product creates an exciting room divider alongside a multifunctional storage, e.g. with flowers, clothes, magazines next to each other.
Anya Sebton says: ”Add accessories make it possible to store in an easy and convenient way, and to create a visual expression at the same time. It also works as a room divider, and the clothes, magazines or flowers constitute an exciting, vibrant background”.
The frame for Add comes in powder coat or chrome and has a height of 170 cm and offers two widths, 50 and 75 cm. The foot plate, however, is always in powder coat.

ADD Table
Add table is small side table that brings yet another dimension. The subtle leaning design creates a playful sense of motion and makes the table extremely user-friendly. Add is the small, flexible table that you easily move along wherever you are in the room. I see this little table as a perfect place for your ipad or the coffee mug, a table that works in the activity-based environment, says Anya Sebton. Add table works with any product within the Lammhults segment. Shape and function are key words. The areas of use are many; lounges, hotel rooms, conferences rooms, museums, waiting areas, meeting areas, restaurants etc. Add table works very well with the modular system Addit, designed by Anya Sebton, but has its own expression which makes it a perfect match for many products and interiors. Frame with foot plate of powder coated or chromium plated steel and powder coated pillar of Ø 25 mm steel tubing. Table top of 3 mm powder coated steel sheet. Felt glides.
