A generously sized modular seat comprised of fully interchangeable elements.
The minimum nominal distance between shafts is 60cm. This distance is not obtained by incorporating wider armrests or accessories between the seats, but by increasing the seat and backrest dimensions. This means that the real minimum space for users is 56cm, providing a considerable degree of comfort.
The seat and backrest are formed by two moulded polyurethane foam blocks, with an internal metal structure. The upholstery is fully joined to the foam using the Integral Form system, without seams or stitching. The Integral Form system guarantees accurate replacements if required.
A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and the upholstery on both the seat and backrest, preventing fire from reaching the foam and delaying the spreading of flames and emission of toxic gases.
The backrest padding is anatomically shaped incorporating horizontal and vertical grooves. The seat padding is anatomically shaped and smooth, without any channels or grooves to prevent the accumulation of dirt.
The seat and backrest incorporate fully washable rear polypropylene shells, preventing chafing or dirt from appearing on the rear upholstery surfaces.
The seat tips up automatically by means of a double-spring system housed inside the seat shell (tested in 500,000 cycles). The system does not require lubrication and is extremely quiet.
The seat is mounted on a central pedestal and supported by an internal bridge interconnecting the seats and allowing completely rigid and stable rows to be formed. The pedestal has a tubular steel structure and is finished in polyester paint. Chairs are fixed to the floor using expansion plugs. The chair adapts to the specific slope of the room through the base of the pedestal. Rows are formed by means of interconnected backrests ensuring complete rigidity and stability and reinforcing the attachment to the floor surface.
The arms are made of blow-moulded plastic, always upholstered, and incorporate a compact, single, integrated cup holder.
Both the seat and the backrest incorporate the TX acoustic system. Perforations in the back provide an excellent acoustic response. Optionally, the backrest can be upholstered.
The HR finish can also be used for the backrest. This type of backrest features a headrest integrated in the backrest itself. The ergonomic advantage of this type of headrest is that it takes the form of a natural prolongation of the backrest.
Alongside tables F-45 or F-1000, it becomes an optimal solution for long work sessions and conferences.
