TUFTING Collection by Carpet Concept
With a market share of about 85 percent, tufting is the most prevalent method of manufacturing carpets today. In this process, hundreds of needles push the yarns into a support fabric as loops. If the loops are cut, the result is an appealing cut pile. A backing material gives additional hold to the pile yarn and ensures the stability of the rationally manufactured woven fabric. The off-white carpet is then dyed or printed. The ICD print procedure with its eight-color-printing ensures designs can be created to satisfy individual requirements.
