The company has adopted technologies derived from the car industry to produce the most dematerialised door in the world: 2mm thick, using 90% less wood. Extensive research into materials allowed Valcucine to revolutionise the furniture industry when launching In Vitrum, the first 100% recyclable base unit, made of glass and recycled aluminium. The Ricicla door, born in the 90s, has been improved until to realize the thinner door in the world: Riciclantica.
The assembling system developed for the Meccanica range allows complete customisation while avoiding the use of glues, making the kitchens 90% reusable and 100% recyclable.
At the same time, the inlay practice used for the SineTempore doors for example, is an ancient woodwork technique resulting from years of experience and great manual ability that had almost been forgotten by the industrialised society.
