System 180 is a patented construction kit system of stainless steel tubes that combines universal function, classic design and high-quality processing. Developed in the early 1980s by architect, designer and exhibition builder Prof. Jürg Steiner, System 180 now represents modular furniture and building-constructive solutions "Made in Berlin". The service offer ranges from individual planning to production to assembly on site. High quality claims, an environmentally compatible production and social responsibility towards employees and the site form the basis of corporate philosophy.
System 180 opens up near-unlimited options for implementing individual furnishing solutions and architectural structures. In the last years, this lead to the construction of spectacular projects such as the 400 metres long temporary façade for the Berlin-Tempelhof airport or a floating UFO in the Deutsches Museum in Munich. System 180 received many awards for design competence and product quality, the most recent ones the silver Focus Open, a red dot design award and several iF Design Awards.
