For over thirty years, Valcucine has been dedicated to creating beautiful, durable and sustainable kitchens.
A Valcucine kitchen combines the finest design with a deep commitment to the environment and the highest standards of safety and client satisfaction.
Inspired by the Italian tradition of conviviality and aesthetics, the Valcucine kitchens are designed to provide the perfect backdrop to everyday rituals as well as life’s special moments.
Valcucine’s ranges merge functionality and efficient use of natural resources and raw materials through designs based on ergonomics, dematerialisation, recyclability and the reduction in the emission of toxic substances.
Technological innovation becomes an opportunity, an incentive for research aimed at providing specific solutions and manufacturing processes that respect the environment while responding to the ever changing needs of clients and the market as well.
Technology and craftsmanship coexist within Valcucine’s products. The company has adopted technologies derived from the car industry to produce the most dematerialised door in the world: 2mm thick, using 90% less wood. Extensive research into materials allowed Valcucine to revolutionise the furniture industry when launching In Vitrum, the first 100% recyclable base unit, made of glass and recycled aluminium. The Ricicla door, born in the 90s, has been improved until to realize the thinner door in the world: Riciclantica.
The assembling system developed for the Meccanica range allows complete customisation while avoiding the use of glues, making the kitchens 90% reusable and 100% recyclable.
At the same time, the inlay practice used for the SineTempore doors for example, is an ancient woodwork technique resulting from years of experience and great manual ability that had almost been forgotten by the industrialised society. For the Artematica Vitrum kitchen, Valcucine has also developed a technique to use inlaid decors on glass.
This represents a new way of conceiving furniture, which frees the imagination and makes it possible to personalise every single kitchen with artworks created by young artists, the designer or oneself.
In the 90s with Logica System, the company has revolutionised the concept of ergonomics. It is characterized by 80cm depth, back section, removable baskets, and Ala and Aerius wall units with folding doors. In 2011 Valcucine has evolved its pre-existing ergonomics system making the new backrest with New Logica System. An innovative system witch allows to hold and hide every kitchen tools.
Since always Gabriele Centazzo is the creative soul of the brand and he takes care of each aspect from the innovative technologies to the sustainability. Moreover he is involved in every projects in terms of stylistic, engineering and technical research.
Each kitchen is hand-crafted at the Valcucine factory in Italy and exported to over fifty countries around the world. Today, Valcucine distributes kitchens to more than 370 showrooms all around the world, including Europe UK, US, South East Asia and South Africa.
With a view of pursuing even greater opportunities and in response to challenges presented by international markets, Valcucine has recently partnered with ItalianCreationGroup, a leading holding company operating in the home and lifestyle design sector, which acquired the majority of the company in 2015.
