Sovet About

Sovet was set up at the end of the 80s, the period in which glass became a very important feature in the furnishing sector. Currently, the modern glass-curving technique has further increased the application of this element because it enables combining maximum artistic expression with a new form of functionality, which results in uniquely essential furnishing items that are resistant yet almost invisible.

In this sector Sovet has developed innovative techniques that have made the company renowned in terms of forms, colours and finishes. Sovet in fact has totally reinterpreted the concept of glass, using it in highly original ways in order to create distinctive furnishing units for homes and community areas alike.

Recently Sovet's R&D department began exploring new forms of creative expression in cooperation with some of the most talented artists in the world of contemporary design. And the contact with the minimalist approach of studio Lievore Altherr Molina resulted in the unique 'Divetro Collection', which became an immediate success with an extremely refined and demanding public.

Today, Sovet has a production area of 9000 square metres and its products are sold in over 50 countries throughout the globe.
