INSIGHT COLOGNE - Orgatec Night of Corporate Architecture, 29.10.2010, 6pm to 12 midnight
Numerous new town-planning measures, like, for example, the development of the Rheinau Harbour or the ongoing transformation of the industrial wasteland of the 'Schäl Sick' (the 'bad side') on the Rhine's right bank, are lending Cologne an increasingly modern-architectural character.
As part of this year's Orgatec, the leading international trade fair for office and contract environments, a tour of 15 selected, forward-looking corporate office concepts will take place on the evening of 29 October, from 6pm to 12 midnight. Visitors to Orgatec will be able to see exemplary projects that address such current architectural concerns as sustainability, the reworking of existing buildings, and 21st-century office and work concepts. Shuttle buses leave from the South Entrance of the Cologne Fairgrounds (Kölnmesse) to different points on the tour every 15 minutes.
Prices: €15 for adults, €12 concessionary price, €30 for Day Combined Ticket ORGATEC 2010 / INSIGHT COLOGNE; the total number of tickets available is limited.
