As the name Clip suggests, the steel underframe recalls the elegant, flowing shape of a clip. Together with the solid wood table top it forms an individual and dynamic whole, a fusion which is the hallmark of good design. The tapered shape of the supports enhances their proportions while maintaining full stability, and is complemented by the pattern of the table top, which displays the distinctive end grain of this unique “natural” table.

The first impression is of a very delicate, almost weightlessly floating table surface. A second look reveals a sculpture, the bevelled table top merging with the supports which taper as they rise to meet it. A truly individual table, combining stability with inimitable lightness. The solid wood table top is double and its entire underside tapers towards the visible end grain of the 10 cm table edge. The underframe is available in a choice of 4 metallic finishes, with an option of darkened, copper-plated supports.

The Clip extendable table has the same simple yet unmistakeable top as the Clip wedge-shaped table, the only difference being that the longitudinal wood runs from side to side. The top consists of two parts which open synchronously at the centre, enabling the table length to be increased by 60 cm. The tapering table top profile means that the technicalities of the extension and the support for the two extension leaves remain completely concealed.
