Sara di Modiss

I still rememember my school years, in front of the blackboard. Processing with half my neurones what I heard, and dedicating the rest to deciding what game to play at breaktime... One afternoon I listened to the story of Sara, “the Mother of the Nations” said the teacher, and in my mind’s eye I imagined a delicate lady, with skin, smooth and tañed from the sun. Today I see that lady in this lamp; perhaps my neurones were all in the class that day!
