Safari is a sun lounger, a deck chair, a mobile hammock – and the newest creation from the design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen in cooperation with Cane-line. It is created in a soft, rounded and organic form that embraces the relaxing body and offers a nest to enjoy the sun and its warmth. Comfort comes first in the creation of Safari, but it is just as eye appeasing as comfortable. Safari is in itself a decorative and sculptural piece of furniture for life in the out-of-doors. The designers have moved on from the traditional look of deck chairs and sun beds. Safari is more voluminous, better defined and more exclusive in its appearance. And it also introduces a whole new form of weave technique in Cane-line-fiber; Safari unveils a more transparent weave with an exquisite cross pattern, creating a look, which is both light and unique.
