Poul Kjærholm's cabinet for drawings was originally designed for the School of Architects at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1955. The Faculty needed new furniture. The students and teachers needed writing desks to work at and storage fordrawings and Poul Kjærholm was appointed chief designer of the project. Rud. Rasmussen had helped Kjærholm before, producing prototypes for some of his chairs. Now Kjærholm and Rud. Rasmussen joined forces to produce furniture for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

The cabinet for drawings comes in black, lacquered steel frame and box in massiv Oregonpine. The drawers (9) holds papersizes A1.
