Carpet: an instrument of poetic presentation for rooms. That’s what JOIN is all about. In cooperation with Marcel Wanders, ANKER- TEPPICHBODEN has succeeded in develo- ping an unusual collection for the commer- cial property segment. A symbiosis of tech- nical perfection and creative extravagance.

TECHNOLOGY MEETS DESIGN
Base: cut-pile. On top: loop-pile. The homogeneity of the surfaces “cut” and “loop” requires structural enrichment and finishing of the standard products. In a skilful manner the fine cut-pile is patterned in a water colour style and densified with distinctive loop elements. A heterogeneous surface emerges. It lends the originally soft cut-pile a unique character: it is expressive, characteristic, combines planning aesthetics with design intuition. The new ANKER technology CL+ enables this enriching additive in the landscape of structural textile surfaces. In his own use of forms, from playfulness to opulence, designer Marcel Wanders led this highly technical industrial product to become a basic reinterpretation of carpets. The result is an unbelievable repertoire of completely unexpected versions and varieties of flooring. The creative power of the JOIN collection lends horizontal surfaces an unmistakeable charisma.

Environmental protection and careful use of natural resources have been essential guide- lines for the orientation of ANKER-TEPPICHBODEN for decades and today they are more important than ever. The carpets in the JOIN collection are completely produced from the recycled yarn Econyl. It is produced in the scope of an innovative joint recycling programme by Aquafil from polyamide 6 yarns. Of course ANKER Carpets also feeds its unprocessed yarns into this cycle. The primary backing is made of recycled PET material.
Therefore the JOIN collection complies with the generally modified consumer behaviour and the desire of the customer for sustainable products. It goes without saying that it is optimally suited to the highest contract requirements.
