HL lamp is designed by the recognized Danish architect Henning Larsen. Among the most outstanding examples in his portfolio is the creation of Copenhagen Opera House.
The HL lamp is constructed of warmgalvanized steel. The upper shade is made of untreated copper and the lower shade is made of clear/opal acryl. The lamp housing for HL 410 is based
on a white lacquered steel rest, which is fixed with three small copper screws on top of the copper shade. At the HL 590 lamp the copper shade is fastened with a steel rest at the small top shade just above the upper shade. In time the untreated copper shade gain the characteristic dark look and eventually it gains the classic verdigris colour. Thus the lamp grows more beautiful year after
year.
HL lamp provides downward and diffuse light. The white lacquered underside of the top shade enhances the lighting effect.
