Every so often a company rediscovers a piece of furniture with all the makings of a true classic when taking another look at its own history. Edwards, a sofa group by Paris-based American architect Edward Tuttle dating back to 1981, caught the imagination of the Wittmann team all over again because its individualistic approach has lost none of its freshness. Edwards is making its comeback as an armchair, sofa and chaise longue. Its unique appearance derives from the tension between inside and outside created by the exquisite workmanship of the deep-buttoned upholstery on the interior and the smooth external surfaces. This duality is particularly attractive in the chaise longue because of the transition from interior to exterior.
