‘Calm’ is a fully new item of furniture for guests. It is a gesture and a welcoming ceremony at the same time. Based on the Japanese tea ceremony the newly arrived guest is offered a cup of tea and a place of calm to relax in. The comfortable seat made of lightly upholstered material is hooked into anchors in the wall and is fitted on the underside with an anti-slip base. The back rest automatically adapts to the seating position and is held in place by the body weight of the person sitting on it.
