evado is the designer couple Jessica Chon Picker and Maik Picker plus a team of well qualified co-workers. evado designs, develops and produces their own products which are ‘Made in Germany’’.

evado brings fresh wind to the industry. As an independent family company, evado has the ability to push boundaries and explore new ground. This results in exciting new products and projects with un-mistakeable character and unique innovation.


Where do we come from?

evado was founded in 2002 by Maik Picker as an engineering company. Thereafter it undertook project work for large companies such as Deutsche Telekom and EADS. With the arrival of white LEDs in 2005, evado began its first experiences with LED technology and lighting. This resulted in the unique LED framework ‘LED’ art’. From 2009, after major technical developments in the LED industry, evado began the development of its first serial products. This resulted in the 2011 unveiling of the ROCA collection.
