CASTOR CHAIR PLUS
Building on the success of the iconic Castor Chair, this generously sized version features a wide seat and backrest for additional comfort. Well suited to use in meeting and dining rooms, the chair is available in three standard colors and is made of the same robust Japanese oak and plywood as the other items in the Castor series.
The standard version is joined by the Castor Chair Plus Pad, which features a cushioned seat upholstered with a durable fabric that matches the color of the frame. The chair provides exceptional comfort during long periods of use, making it well suited to both home and contract use.
CASTOR ARMCHAIR PLUS
The Castor Armchair Plus presents a new take on the classic Castor Chair. Drawing on their eight years of experience working with Karimoku, BIG-GAME developed a design that makes use of the company’s skills and technology — from the CNC milling of solid wood to assembly and finishing by hand. The back and armrests feature beautifully articulated details that have been adapted from the Castor Low Chair and allow for a comfortable upright sitting position. The chair shares the Castor Chair’s three standard colors and is made from the same robust Japanese oak and plywood.
The upholstered version, Castor Armchair Plus Pad, offers extra comfort through the addition of slim yet soft cushion pad, which are covered with a durable fabric that matches the color of the frame.

Switzerland
The Belgian Elric Petit, the Swiss Grégoire Jeanmonod and the French Augustin Scott de Martinville met at Ecal, where they studied industrial design. Taking advantage of their diverse backgrounds, they create the Big-game design studio in June 2004, today based in Lausanne and Brussels. According to their motto “From confrontation comes progress”, they mix universes through their collections. “Heritage in Progress”, their first collection, questions the blending of heritage and contemporary lifestyle. With “New Rich”, they make democratic objects exclusive by using gold. With “Pack, Sweet Pack”, they use packaging to create furniture. Lately, “Plus is More”, plays with the Swiss modernist heritage. Appart from their studio work, the members of Big-game also teach design at Ecal (Lausanne) and La Cambre (Brussels). While their approach is often experimental, their industrial realism makes the products sustainable for the market. Big-game’s objects are produced by companies such as Ligne Roset, Mitralux, Vlaemsch and Domestic, and awarded prizes such as the “Bourses Fédérales” or the first prize of the “Die Besten” contest in 2005. Taking part in numerous exhibitions, the studio also works with galleries such as KREO in Paris to create more exclusive pieces. More recently, they were brought to work in the field of scenography for companies such as Team by Wellis or commissioned work for Veuve Clicquot.
