The Locker Room by Foot Locker

Foot Locker is a leading global athletic footwear and apparel retailer. Its stores offer the latest
in athletic-inspired performance products, manufactured primarily by the leading athletic brands.
Foot Locker offers products for a wide variety of activities including basketball, running, and
training. Its 1,911 stores are located in 21 countries including 1,171 in the United States, Puerto
Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam, 129 in Canada, 518 in Europe, and a combined 93 in
Australia and New Zealand. The domestic stores have an average of 2,400 selling square feet
and the international stores have an average of 1,500 selling square feet.

The Locker Room by Foot Locker is a unique sports store, bringing together some of the most dynamic, pioneering and performance enhancing sportswear, from the most innovative brands. The concept store features dedicated football, running and fitness departments, offering athletes of all ages, everything they need to perform, whether you’re a sports novice or fitness fanatic. After the opening of the first Foot Locker store in London’s Brent Cross Shopping Centre at the end of November 2011, other new stores will follow in BullRing Shopping Centre, Birmingham and Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock in April 2012.

Dalziel & Pow designed the corporate identity, communication and store interior with great
passion for detail … and created the total brand experience. They adopted the Visplay systems
Grid 50, Steel, Area 13, Area Viva 13, Mono R 30 and Label for this project. With the aide
of Visplay specialists, customised merchandise supports were also developed for sports goods.
These include e.g. a special metal shelf and a football holder for use with Steel and different
trays and hooks for small items using Grid 50. Suitably adapted versions of the Label sign holder system were also created for signage.
