Ongoing large-scale projects in China include the headquarters for the two biggest life insurance companies China Life and Taikang Life, a production plant for BMW in Shenyang and the Science City of Nanopolis in Suzhou as well as the 450m Haikou highrise project on Hainan Island.

HENN is an internationally operating German architectural practice with more than 30 years of building expertise in the fields of culture and administration buildings, education, research and development and production buildings.

Projects such as Die Autostadt, Die Gläserne Manufaktur and the Project House in the Research and Innovation Center of BMW have been internationally acclaimed, ongoing large-scale projects in China include the headquarters for the two biggest life insurance companies China Life and Taikang Life, a production plant for BMW in Shenyang and the Science City of Nanopolis in Suzhou.

As a general planning practice HENN provides experience in all work phases. The broad scope of work includes architectural planning, interior design, masterplanning, quantity surveying, construction management and LEED certification.

The office is managed by Gunter Henn and nine partners. These days, 330 architects, designers, planners and engineers work in project teams in our offices in Munich, Berlin, Beijing and Shanghai.
