26 aluminium spindles, each with a different curvature and angle, form the curved back and merge with the seat, the only horizontal element. A comfortable, incredibly lightweight chair with a basket-like shape, Stem offers a perfect example of Crassevig’s traditional craftsmanship and industrial innovation.

In the 2012 version of Stem, the lightweight aluminium tube structure, produced without any welding or adhesives, is combined with wood legs and a wood seat to create a harmonious contrast.
Upholstered and wood versions of the chair are also available. Models with a stem and with a cross, flat or swivel base complete the line.
