Stammtisch de Quodes

The Quodes Stammtisch, one of the Winners of the Interior Innovation Awards 2013 by the German Design Council, adds a round version to the already known oval and rectangular tables.

Häberli says
"The idea was to design a social, warm yet visually lightweight table. The type of construction (sheet metal and wood) has drawn its inspiration from the modern details of the carpentry crafts; the console and joist hangers made of plain steel have their sophisticated rebirth".

Edge
Häberli gave a subtle detail to the edge of the table top: the edges are not simply vertical, but their angles move outwards at both ends, while moving slightly inwards at the sides. This shape detail changes so naturally that you only notice it in a second instance.

Diameter 120 / 140 cm / larger on request, height 75 cm.

Solid American Ash Wood / Walnut, French Oak. Sheet metal with satin white powder coating.

Besides the round table tops, also oval and rectangular table tops are possible, although normally with a different base design.
