There is something for everyone among the countless possibilities offered by Paolo Piva’s Somnus range. You can chose between three bases in the usual sizes (widths from 90 to 200 cm, length 200 or 210 cm) and two headboards – the narrow Metis and the broad Thebe bed head. Both headboards come either in the same width as the base or extending beyond it, and Thebe is available in two heights.
SOMNUS I is the range’s “entry-level” model, so to speak. It features an upholstered slatted insert that doubles as the bed base and matches the mattress size. Somnus I cannot accommodate a bedding compartment. The standard model consists of a low base with a permanent cover. The alternative version is higher and includes a valance. A removable cover is available on request.
SOMNUS II places the mattress in an upholstered frame. A removable cover is standard and the bed is also available with a valance. The model can be ordered with a bedding compartment as well as a comprehensive range of inserts and mattresses. You can also chose between two types of foot (wooden feet or concealed runners).
In SOMNUS III the base is flush against the mattress. A removable cover is standard and the bed is also available with a valance.
