In this rug all pieces are distinct in colour, material or size, but are unified by their appearance as a group. The 180 cm x 180cm rug is held together by a silicon glue web, as individuals in a social network, which randomly connects both directly neighbouring pieces and more distant ones. The silicon web has two practical functions: holding the pieces together and increasing the friction with the floor.
