This is a pivoted unit capable of adapting to a variety of positions. This street lamp alone is enough to light the street and the pavement with spotlights and highly technical and light effective fluorescent lamps.

The Sara street lamp arose from a Beth Galí project in Ireland, between Saint Patrick's Street and Grand Parade, in the city of Cork. The designer wanted to create a unit which would reflect the asymmetrical nature of this crossroads. She therefore designed a street lamp with two different arms and two lighting systems: one is diffuse and the other is more direct.

Using two galvanised steel tubes of different heights and diameters as supports for a series of four spotlights and two fluorescent lamps, joined by a stainless steel axis, Beth Galí designed a pivoted vane of great constructive and formal simplicity while also being highly technical and light effective.

This 9,70m high street lamp is made of two columns of heat-galvanised steel, joined in vane shape by a stainless steel axis. The longest tube, is 10m long. It supports four PRX-327-type spotlights for discharge lamps (maximum 250 W). It is supplied without electrical units or lamps. The shortest tube, 6m long, supports two HF-265-type totally-sealed lamps, which have two 58 W fluorescent tubes. The street lamp is delivered disassembled in five components: the two columns, the axis joining the columns, the lamps and the spotlights.
Assembly instructions are included with the street lamp. The columns are fixed using a reinforced concrete cube, made on site, and anchorage bolts, 24cm below ground level. The foundations should provide a slot for the electrical connection. Anchorage bolts and pattern come with the column. Normal part replacement and maintenance.
