Although designed in 2003, this is a classical and timeless bed. Katja Falkenburger created 20 designs from the typology of the bed. Richard Lampert selected this archetypal form. Although it is of solid wood the bed appears light and airy. This is due to the shadowline and the edges at the top and bottom part, on which you can actually sit. This visual light- ness makes it distinctively different from most of other solid wood beds. The night tables in bent aluminium or copper provide a contrast to the solid wood and gives the bed a distinct modern apprearance.
