Metals such as copper and brass have been utilized by Bluestein to realize floorings with a strong and lasting surface. This seemed an unrealizable goal, but Bluestein has realized it by stratifing the metal base with extralight glass. Metalglass tiles don't fear oxidation.
In addition to copper and brass, steel has been inserted. Bluestein works all these metals by hand, giving to the surfaces a special decoration. It may be soft or strong and the metals colour remains inalterated in the time. With this line you can realize floorings, technical raised floorings, coverings tops, stairs and interior decorations.
Floorings and coverings tiles have a metal base hot worked and combined with flot glass (extra light glass, polished and chamferred edges). The tiles have a protective transparent film on the surface and all around a rubber gasket, that gives protection to the glass and creates the necessary gap for the product and the foundation expansions.
The metals used are: steel, brass and copper.
The surface decorations are: soft or strong. Decorations, on demand of the customer, can be considered.
The metals are handworked and so every tile has its own individuality.
A transparent adhesive (thickness 125 micron) is used to join metal and glass together, then the plate is stratified in oven at 160°. (vacuum sealed)
