Front of larch wood which is highly resinous and therefore very much suitable for exterior exposure. As the wood is untreated, it can be painted, glazed or oiled easily. Though, in our opinion, this is not necessary. As time goes by the wood silvers and develops its own interesting patina. The heart-shaped window is covered by a 5 mm glass plate.
